International keynote speaker, behavioural science expert, and future-of-work advisor Niluka Kavanagh is expanding her international speaking presence as organisations increasingly seek guidance on navigating artificial intelligence while keeping people at the centre of business success. Recent milestones include partnerships with global speaker bureaus and growing demand for keynote presentations focused on the human side of AI, leadership, and workplace transformation. In addition, Niluka is inspiring the next generation of keynote speakers through her Gravitas keynote speaking programme.
Helping Organisations Navigate the Human Side of AI
As artificial intelligence transforms industries, organisations are increasingly seeking practical guidance on how technology and people can work together. Through keynote presentations and advisory work with The Modern CEO, Niluka Kavanagh helps business leaders understand the behavioural science behind engagement, leadership, communication, and performance in an AI-driven world.
Drawing on experience across corporate consulting, entrepreneurship, and international business, she encourages organisations to look beyond automation and focus on the uniquely human qualities that technology cannot replicate. Her presentations explore how human-AI integration should work in practice, including how core human skills like empathy, trust, collaboration, communication and contextual thinking remain essential for sustainable business success.
“People often say that AI won’t replace you, but someone using AI will,” she said. “I agree. However, I also believe that the organisations which truly understand people will outperform those that focus only on technology.”
A Global Perspective on the Future of Work
After graduating from Oxford University, the career of Niluka Kavanagh began at KPMG, where she founded the firm’s Behavioural Science Unit while contributing to strategy, consulting, employee engagement, communications, and future-focused innovation initiatives. Her work sparked a lasting interest in understanding why people behave the way they do and how organisations can unlock higher levels of performance.
After leaving corporate life, she pursued entrepreneurship and went on to live and work across more than 14 countries. These experiences gave Kavanagh a global perspective on workplace culture, leadership, and the evolving relationship between humans and technology. “Efficiency does not mean effectiveness. Every organisation I meet is asking what AI can do. Very few are asking what people are for. The combination of both will decide who’s still standing in ten years.”
Today, her keynote presentations combine behavioural science with real-world business insights, offering organisations practical strategies for leading through rapid technological change while keeping people at the centre of decision-making.
Growing International Recognition
As demand continues to grow for experts who can address the human implications of AI, Kavanagh has expanded her international speaking presence through speaker bureaus and conference organisers across multiple markets. Recent milestones include signing with three additional speaker bureaus, bringing her representation to six agencies worldwide.
Her work has also earned recognition from Microsoft, which named her one of its Top 10 Speakers to Follow in 2025. She has additionally been featured by International Women’s Day, Oxford University, and The World Financial Review, while continuing to speak at global conferences, leadership events, and inside renowned companies.
Kavanagh is regularly cited as an impactful and engaging speaker – able to make people think differently about the role of people in the workforce today.
“In a world where AI can generate endless information, what people remember is how you made them think, feel and act,” Kavanagh said. “My goal is to help audiences better understand the future of work while giving them practical insights they can apply immediately.”
Supporting the Next Generation of Keynote Speakers
Having built a successful speaking career herself, Kavanagh is ready to inspire the next generation of keynote speakers. Alongside the expansion of her international speaking engagements, Niluka Kavanagh is introducing Gravitas, a programme created for executives, founders, and professionals who want to become more confident and impactful speakers.
“I’ve met many executives who are exceptional at what they do, but struggle to communicate their expertise on stage,” she said. “Gravitas is designed to help leaders develop the confidence, positioning and influence needed to make their message memorable.”
Developed under the ImagineThat executive network, the Gravitas programme equips participants with practical techniques to strengthen stage presence, define their brand, communicate with authority and practically get booked on stage. The first cohort runs later this year.
Looking Ahead
Looking ahead, Kavanagh plans to continue expanding her speaking engagements across the UK, Europe, North America, and Asia while helping organisations better understand the relationship between people and technology. Through her keynote presentations and advisory work, she aims to contribute to a future where technological progress enhances rather than replaces the qualities that make people effective leaders, collaborators, and innovators.
Attendees have praised Niluka’s presentations for making complex concepts accessible and actionable, while event organisers value her ability to connect with diverse audiences across industries. This distinctive approach has positioned Niluka Kavanagh as a leading global voice on the future of work.
