PCC Life and Leadership Coach Goldie Uttamchandani is continuing her efforts to bring coaching into education following the completion of an 80-hour pro bono coaching initiative for students at a public high school in Barcelona and a recent speaking engagement in Bangkok focused on the future of coaching in schools.
From January to April 2026, Goldie provided individual coaching to 20 high school students as part of a social impact project designed to help young people strengthen self-awareness, decision-making, and personal development during their teenage years. The initiative reflects her long-standing belief that coaching should become part of a student’s development well before they enter higher education or the workplace.
In June 2026, she shared that perspective with an international audience in Bangkok, where she spoke about the role coaching can play in education and why developing skills such as critical thinking, self-awareness, and decision-making during adolescence can have a lasting impact on future leaders.
“We often introduce coaching when people reach leadership positions or face major career decisions. My experience has shown that many of the skills we associate with effective leaders begin developing much earlier. Supporting teenagers while they are learning how to think, make decisions, and understand themselves can change the way they approach the future.”
Goldie has worked with clients from more than 30 nationalities and has completed over 2,500 coaching hours with individuals ranging from Generation Z to Baby Boomers. Her work spans personal development, leadership, career transitions, and youth coaching, allowing her to observe how communication and decision-making evolve across different generations and cultural backgrounds.
Alongside her coaching practice, Goldie co-hosts the podcast Mind The Gen Gap, where she explores the dynamics between generations in the workplace and examines how organisations can build stronger collaboration across age groups.
Her contributions to coaching have been recognised with the Best Life and Teen Coach in Spain award for four consecutive years, from 2023 through 2026. She was also named a finalist for the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Impact Award in both 2023 and 2024.
Looking ahead, Goldie plans to expand coaching programmes for teenagers across schools and educational institutions internationally. She believes that helping young people develop confidence, self-awareness, and sound decision-making before they enter university or the workforce will become increasingly important as they navigate a rapidly changing world.
“Young people are preparing for careers that may not even exist yet,” she said. “While knowledge will always matter, the ability to think independently, communicate effectively, and make thoughtful decisions will continue to serve them regardless of how the world changes.”
