IronWallet has announced the launch of IronWallet MCP, a solution based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that allows AI agents, including Claude, Cursor, and other MCP-compatible clients, to manage a crypto wallet through ordinary natural language dialogue. At the same time, private keys and the seed phrase are not shared with the agent at any stage of the process.

With IronWallet MCP, a user can send an agent a command such as “Swap $500 of ETH when the price reaches $2,300” or “What’s my USDT balance on Ethereum?” and receive an executed transaction without opening a separate wallet application, copying addresses, or manually confirming every step.
A comparison with other offerings on the AI wallet market shows that IronWallet MCP stands out in three areas: key storage security, the range of supported networks, and accessibility for users without technical experience.
Security Without Sacrificing Convenience
Most existing solutions connecting an AI agent with a crypto wallet in one way or another require the agent to be given a private key or seed phrase, either directly in a prompt or through an API, creating a risk of leakage through request logging, model compromise, or a third-party service.
IronWallet MCP works differently. Keys are encrypted and stored locally on the user’s device, the MCP server signs transactions itself, and the AI agent sees only the result of the operation, for example, “bought 0.217 ETH,” but does not gain access to secret data either during setup or subsequent use.
At the other end of the market are hardware wallets: the most secure option for storing keys, but one that requires physically connecting the device and manually confirming every operation. This makes them impractical for conversational interaction with an AI agent. IronWallet MCP occupies a middle ground between these extremes: the level of key protection is comparable to local non-custodial storage, while the speed of operation matches ordinary communication with an assistant.
Multichain Support with an Accessible Interface
The second distinction of IronWallet MCP is the number of supported networks. The solution works with 12 or more blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, TRON, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Avalanche, TON, and XRP. In the market for AI agent tools, such broad coverage is usually offered only by complex solutions aimed at developers and requiring SDK configuration or manual integration for each network.
IronWallet MCP is one of the few solutions that combines multichain support with simple installation and operation without writing code. The user downloads an installer for their operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux), connects the MCP server to the client, and interacts with any of the supported networks using a text command.
Designed for Mass-Market Users, Not Just Developers
A significant portion of existing MCP tools for working with cryptocurrency are designed for users with technical experience: they assume knowledge of coding, working through a terminal, or independently integrating an API. IronWallet MCP is designed to work through an ordinary MCP-compatible chat client, without the need to manually understand addresses, fees, or transaction formats.

How It Works
After installing IronWallet MCP, users can send AI agents natural-language commands, for example:
- “Swap $500 of ETH when the price reaches $2,300”
- “Swap 0.01 ETH to USDC on Base”
- “Send 100 USDT to my employment wallet”
- “What’s my USDT balance on Ethereum?”
The agent recognizes the intent and calls the corresponding MCP server tool (execute_swap, send_transfer, get_balance, and others), after which the transaction is signed and executed locally, without the involvement of third-party servers and without exposing the keys.
