DRAMAGO™ Outlines the Next Stage of Interactive Drama

Singapore, Singapore, September 30th, 2026, FinanceWire

The Singapore-headquartered operator of the DRAMAGO app has built its catalogue around interactive drama since April 2026 and plans to open a beta of an AI Story World in the fourth quarter of 2026

DRAMAGO PTE. LTD., the Singapore-headquartered operator of the DRAMAGO app, today outlined the next stage of the interactive drama format — an AI Story World — and said a beta version is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026, with access initially limited to invited users. The company reports the platform has released 14 AI-produced dramas to date, 10 of them interactive — all original and wholly owned — and now localises into seven languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Indonesian, Japanese and Traditional Chinese.

“We built Story World because the most engaging stories don’t end when the episode ends — they keep asking questions of the audience,” said Vita Chang, founder and CEO of DRAMAGO. “From a drama to a Story World — that is the unit of change.”

DRAMAGO describes itself as an AI-native cinematic entertainment platform that combines professional filmmaking, an AI production system and an interactive consumer layer into a single operation. The company reports that the app launched on the App Store in November 2024 and on Google Play in March 2025, and that the platform’s April 2026 repositioning around interactive drama coincided with the release of its first interactive title.

On the production side, it says generating 120 minutes of raw footage can take three to seven days, while a complete interactive production typically takes 7 to 10 days including editing, branching integration and quality control — and about 30 days for the largest title. Reusable assets — background characters, standard transitions and sound beds — account for 30% to 40% of a given production, according to the company. Release cadence stands at approximately three titles a month.

The format’s stated next stage — what the company describes as an AI Story World — is moving from concept to delivery. The company reports a beta version of Story World is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026, with access initially limited to invited users; DRAMAGO did not announce a broader rollout date. In the company’s framing, the arc runs from watching a story, to choosing where it goes, to interacting with characters who persist between scenes, and on to a persistent environment where characters and worlds continue beyond the latest episode. The line the company uses to describe the arc is the same one it ships with its catalogue today: the story does not end when the episode ends. Character-interaction features introduced earlier on the app sit at the first step of that arc.

DRAMAGO has received coverage in Chinese state and industry media including The Global Times, China Blue News, Xuexi.cn and the People’s Daily app. The company was named an “AIGC Interactive Going-Global Benchmark Enterprise” by The Global Times in June 2026. In August 2026 the platform added timed-decision and panoramic-exploration mechanics to its interactive crime catalogue.
