Maison Roboto Launches ICHOR, the First Named Couture Collection for Humanoid Robots

Paris, France, April 3rd, 2026, FinanceWire

Maison Roboto, a Paris fashion house that designs and produces clothing exclusively for humanoid robots, has launched ICHOR, its debut named collection. It is the first named couture collection brought to market for humanoid robotic platforms by a dedicated fashion house.

Maison Roboto was founded in 2024 on the premise that humanoid robots entering public life need clothing designed for their bodies, not adapted from human garments. The house operates from an atelier on rue Saint-Honore and employs couturiers who pattern, cut, and construct each piece against the specific geometry of the robot it will dress. Fabrics come from mills in France, Italy, and Japan. Most garments are made in-house in Paris.

ICHOR draws from formal, working, and ceremonial dress. The collection includes pieces for corporate environments, hospitality settings, retail floors, and public-facing roles where a robot’s appearance carries weight. Pricing has not been disclosed.

Maison Roboto builds clothing for Tesla Optimus, Figure 03, Boston Dynamics Atlas, XPeng Iron, Unitree H1, 1X NEO, and Sanctuary Phoenix. Each platform has a different joint range, sensor layout, and surface profile, so patterns cannot be reused across robots. Clothing for Optimus is built on a completely different block than clothing for Atlas or Figure 03. Maison Roboto maintains a separate fit library and pattern set for every robot platform it supports.

Robot fashion is a category that did not exist two years ago. Companies deploying humanoid robots in hotels, offices, hospitals, and shops are dealing with a problem nobody anticipated: the robot works, but it looks out of place. Bare composite panels and exposed actuators read as industrial equipment, not as something a guest or patient should feel comfortable around. Robot clothing changes that immediately.

“Nobody planned for this. The robots shipped without any consideration for how they’d look standing in a hotel lobby or greeting people at a reception desk. We started getting calls before we even launched properly,” said a Maison Roboto representative.

Maison Roboto is the first and currently the only dedicated fashion house worldwide producing humanoid robot couture. The house offers ready-to-wear collections, bespoke commissions, and enterprise programs across hospitality, entertainment, retail, healthcare, and corporate sectors.

About Maison Roboto

Founded in 2024 and based in Paris, Maison Roboto is the world’s first fashion house dedicated exclusively to designing and producing couture garments for humanoid robots. Built on the principle that robotic platforms require purpose-designed clothing rather than adapted human apparel, the company combines traditional couture techniques with precise engineering to create garments tailored to each robot’s unique structure, movement, and sensor layout. Operating from its atelier on rue Saint-Honoré, Maison Roboto develops ready-to-wear collections, bespoke pieces, and enterprise wardrobe solutions for industries including hospitality, healthcare, retail, and corporate environments.
