GSR, crypto’s capital markets partner, today announced it has received regulatory approval from FINRA to complete its acquisition of an SEC-registered broker-dealer, now named GSR Securities, LLC.

With the acquisition complete, GSR expands its ability to support U.S. institutional clients through a regulated broker-dealer framework and help raise capital for issuers and fund managers looking to grow in digital asset markets. The transaction represents an important step in the continued growth of GSR’s capital markets infrastructure and institutional services platform. Compliance Exchange Group (CXG), a provider of broker-dealer compliance, regulatory, and transaction advisory services, supported GSR throughout the transaction process.

The acquisitions of Autonomous and Architech have also anchored GSR’s crypto-native investment banking capabilities across fundraising, treasury, and capital planning.
