Thhiya Enters Global Workforce Market With a New Approach to Cross-Border Expansion

New Delhi, India, October 7th, 2026, FinanceWire

Thhiya, a global workforce marketplace created by NC Global, has launched to help businesses identify and evaluate providers across Employer of Record (EOR) services, Payroll, HR technology, FinTech, Compliance and International Workforce operations. Built for founders, CXOs, HR and procurement teams expanding across borders, the platform is designed to bring provider information and country-specific considerations into one place before businesses enter the contract stage.

Hiring in another country can appear relatively simple until a company begins navigating the process. What starts as a search for an Employer of Record or Payroll partner can quickly turn into weeks of conversations with providers, compliance teams, and HR technology firms.

The challenge is not necessarily finding companies willing to provide the service. It is determining which provider is genuinely suited to the country in question. A provider with a strong track record in one market may operate differently in another, where employment laws, pricing, payroll practices and local requirements can vary significantly. In many cases, those differences only become apparent after several rounds of discussion or after an agreement has already been signed.

Thhiya has been developed to make the early stages of that decision-making process more transparent. Instead of requiring buyers to piece together information from individual sales calls, provider websites and review platforms, the marketplace aims to provide a central starting point for researching providers and understanding which may be appropriate for a particular market.

From NC Global Experience to a Dedicated Marketplace

The concept for Thhiya originated through NC Global’s work with companies on go-to-market plans, workforce systems and risk frameworks.

During those engagements, one issue appeared repeatedly: choosing an international workforce provider was rarely as straightforward as comparing prices or selecting the most recognizable company.

A provider might operate through its own team in one country while relying on partners in another. Commercial terms that initially appear similar can differ once local costs and responsibilities are considered. Customer feedback can also be fragmented across review platforms, references, and private conversations.

Thhiya’s Connect, Verify and Choose model has been developed around bringing more of that information together before buyers reach the contract stage.

Adding Context to Provider Reviews

One of the tools being developed as part of the platform is the Intent Score.

The concept is based on a practical challenge facing decision-makers: reviews can provide useful information about a provider, but evaluating hundreds of individual reviews across multiple platforms can be time-consuming.

Thhiya plans to analyze these signals to identify recurring patterns, including what customers consistently value, where concerns appear, and which experiences are reported repeatedly.

The company says the Intent Score is not intended to reduce an important workforce decision to a single rating. Instead, it is being developed as an additional reference point that businesses can use alongside their own provider comparisons and due diligence.

Creating Greater Visibility for In-Country Partners

Thhiya is also designed to address another characteristic of the international workforce market: significant country-specific employment expertise often resides with smaller and mid-sized specialist providers.

Some providers have extensive knowledge of one or two markets, particularly around local regulation, payroll and employment practices, but may not have the international sales teams or marketing budgets required to compete directly for global business. In some cases, these firms ultimately provide local services behind larger international providers as subcontractors.

Thhiya aims to give these In-Country Partners greater visibility during the buying process, allowing businesses to discover specialist providers they may not encounter through a conventional search.

The company says this principle is also reflected in its provider subscription structure. Visibility and access to qualified opportunities are intended to remain available across subscription levels rather than being limited exclusively to providers with the highest spending levels.

For buyers, the model is intended to broaden the range of providers available for consideration. For specialist providers, it could provide access to international demand without requiring the same investment in marketing and lead generation as larger competitors.

Thhiya Prepares for External Fundraising

Thhiya is entering the market with an approximate pre-money valuation of ₹3.5 crore, established ahead of its first external fundraising round.

The company says the valuation is not based on early marketplace traction. Instead, it reflects the intellectual property, evaluation methods and frameworks developed through NC Global’s previous enterprise engagements and incorporated into the platform.

Funds from the planned round are expected to support the onboarding of providers across additional markets and continued development of the Intent Score.

NC Global says frameworks used in its previous client engagements contributed to a 38% improvement in closure rates, 60% fewer compliance errors and automation of approximately 90% of work that had previously been handled manually.

Building for a Changing Global Workforce Market

As Thhiya expands, the company says maintaining useful and current provider information will be central to the platform’s development.

Global employment is not a static category. Regulations change, provider capabilities evolve, and a provider that is suitable for one country may not necessarily be the appropriate choice for another.

For that reason, Thhiya is positioning itself as more than a directory of EOR and payroll companies. Its objective is to help businesses better understand the provider landscape before making a decision, while creating greater opportunities for specialist providers to be discovered.

Built in New Delhi for an international audience, Thhiya is now live at thhiya.com.
