SPX Team today announced the appointment of Gabriel Mercer as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). A veteran engineering leader with extensive experience scaling frontier artificial intelligence infrastructure, Mercer will lead SPX Team’s technology division over the coming year as the company integrates native AI models directly into its trading stack.
Mercer joins SPX Team following high-impact engineering leadership roles at top-tier AI companies, where he spearheaded the architecture of autonomous decision engines and predictive models. In his new role, Mercer will focus on embedding native AI across SPX Team’s execution parameters, trade routing algorithms, and real-time data pipelines.
